Has good interface, but doesn't prompt blietooth connection with my phone. So I can't even connect to a smart switch without downloading the app to an iphone and then adding the switch. But even then, the switch only works on iphone, can't even load the app on my phone to work the switch. Why even make the app for android if it doesn't even work.

These lights had one simple job: To turn on and off on a schedule for our outdoor lights. Ever since we had a blackout, or maybe when we have reset our wifi password (which wouldn't make sense, but that's IoT for you), but these switches have stopped communicating through the app. I've done the basic troubleshooting (without the "support page", which is just a link on how to connect but nothing else). These switches are just flat buttons with no bluetooth capability now. Never using them again.

Thanks for the review! The switch needs to be connected to WiFi to execute a schedule, but you should be able to turn it on and off with your phone via Bluetooth even without WiFi. If you changed your WiFi password, you will need to update it in the Deako app so the device can connect. Please reach out to support@deako.com for more help.

I tested and evaluated a lot of solutions before selecting Deako. They have since proven to be a fantastic smart lighting solution. I just installed my whole home system with a mixture of different switches and over 40 total. The app is so simple to setup. The technical and customer support is fantastic. No need to try out any other solution. Go straight for Deako and never look back. They look cool too, your friends will have instant smart home envy.
