Sure they don't offer you a whole lot for stuff that isn't video games, but really I'm not upset about it. the point of the app is to declutter and get rid of unwanted stuff while making a few cents out of it. Even if it's just $10, it's still more than you'd get by tossing your stuff out. Great app, simple navigation, and a good way to motivate me to clean my shelves
this company can claim your property without paying for basicly any reason and states that it does not have to return it. for litteraly any reason. this is called stealing. its bad enough you only offer cents of the dollar in the first place but to claim a defect like a scratch on the case or a fold of a page as a reason to take without paying at all is bull. do not use this app without reading your terms and conditions. this is why people rated this app as a scam.
Great concept for selling unwanted media* (CDs, video games, movies, and books), but not great in practice. The most I was offered, even for collectors items, rarities, popular/classic titles, etc. was $3. If you're in a rush to lose some stuff for a few quick bucks (moving house, etc.), this might be a good option for you, but I'd be a lot better off personally selling these kinds of items to the right buyer. A lot of items are not recognized or accepted. I plan on uninstalling the app. *and electronics; I didn't really explore this avenue.
BEWARE. They claimed that they didn't receive all I said the sent. I absolutely know what I sent because they had also said something was missing from a previous order so I was extremely careful to pack everything that scanned. I emailed them about it and the didn't even have the courtesy to reply. Either it's a dishonest or incompetent employee or the company itself is dishonest.
It is a scam people! Do not download this app and waste your time, they offer you less than pocket change for brand new movies! Lego Batman was offered 1.30, Finding Dory a dollar, Avatar Collector's Edition 30 cents! It's a waste of time, space of your phone. Legitimately a scam, go elsewhere to sell your things, don't trust these people. They are crazy to think they can give so little for so much. Garbage.
The price offer on some CDs is not worthwhile, but they took enough in bulk that it was more cost effective than driving to a used reseller. Free shipping label and check were both correct and legitimate. Payment arrived within a few weeks as stated. Pay attention to the condition requirements, scratched CDs have zero resale value to any buyer.
We’ve made a few tweaks to improve the Decluttr service even more. Scan your stuff today and find out how much you could make!
