Great concept, BUT!!! I scanned about 10 of my DVD's and they didn't accept ANY of them. And their not crappy movies either. So before uninstalling I thought what the heck let's scan a blu ray. Batman V Superman to be specific. It offered a WHOPPING 30 cent lol. This app isn't worth the time it takes to scan all of my movies. It would be if it accepted DVDs. I can see selling DVDs for 30 cent, but not blu rays.
App works well. Fast scanner. It's kind of random what they'll take and changes from day to day. The prices may seem low but if you take into account how little you'd get selling things anywhere and the time you save, it's not a bad deal. Especially useful if you're in major clearing-out mode!
I've used this app twice now, and can definitely say, this is NOT a scam. Works so easily and payment comes within days of shipping. You don't even have to give them your bank info, I just have the payment go right to my PayPal. Just remember, the price they initially give you will change depending on the quality of items you send. In the end, my totals only dropped by a few dollars. This app works when used properly, and the get the most money for games it seems like.
It works like it says. Easy to use. But beware that they will receive your items, keep them ALL but not give you money for them all like the invoice says. They claim it's because of condition but I sent one brand new still in plastic that they kept and gave me NOTHING for. Makes no sense. It would've only been .05cents anyway(for a new CD)! I did make a few bucks but one time was enough for me. Pawn and exchange shops and even garage sales give more anyway.... 👎 Could be a great idea if done more honest.
Changed the price on me for a 120gb Xbox 360 from $48 to $22 claiming it is a 20gb model. I've had it for 10 years and it is clearly a 120gb. Of course I have no choice but to accept this robbery because they won't send it back. First and last time I use this app. Should have paid more attention to other reviews.
Great concept for selling unwanted media* (CDs, video games, movies, and books), but not great in practice. The most I was offered, even for collectors items, rarities, popular/classic titles, etc. was $3. If you're in a rush to lose some stuff for a few quick bucks (moving house, etc.), this might be a good option for you, but I'd be a lot better off personally selling these kinds of items to the right buyer. A lot of items are not recognized or accepted. I plan on uninstalling the app. *and electronics; I didn't really explore this avenue.
We’ve made a few tweaks to improve the Decluttr service even more. Scan your stuff today and find out how much you could make!
