Easy to use, no problems to date.
Loved it! Used for 1st time today. Was a bit apprehensive so ordered desserts and went to usual place for takeaway. Food was delivered spot on the estimated delivery time. Was easy to use the app and the delivery driver was very polite. Will try ordering lunch or dinner next time and are how that goes but so far so good!
The service is great, but I suppose it's only the app I should review here... The UX is not that great: selected delivery location twice (before and after choosing order), had to go to the cart to select number of orders of a plate (can't be done when selecting plate?),... Oh and the app was in English, but I received a confirmation mail in French, while I live in a Flemish city. Not a big problem for me, but you might want to look at that :-)
First order was expected to arrive in 30-40min. While waiting this grew to 75min. As there's no option to cancel because you pay in advance, you're left deciding whether to keep your hunger growing for an indefinite anount of time or to give up, eat something else and waste all your money and food when it eventually arrives. Live chat help was useless. Phone support slightly less than useless. At least the food was still warm on arrival. Will NOT use again.
Cancelled the order without notifying us - app just saying order complete but no one showed up. 15 minutes to get a call center in India withe person trying to sell you a voucher rather than a refund. They lost me as a client.
The last update is really bad, now the app doesn't accept my card and is the same than before. You should be more careful with the updates to don't mess up what is already ok
Bug fixes and performance enhancements might sound boring, but they make ordering food with Deliveroo even better. There’s nothing boring about that, right?
