Works well, wish there was a little more choice for food options but generally happy with it. Edit: I just had the weirdest discovery, when I was putting in the delivery time I realised it may be a little later than I initially wanted so I decided to go back and change it, but then discovered that without having previously confirmed the booking, suddenly I have confirmation emails of two deliveries. And so I went about trying to figure out how to cancel one of the orders. Which is not possible without contacting the admin. To me that's kinda strange to not have an option to cancel an order. You should probably look into that. On the plus side the customer service response was fast.
Been using it for a year, and things are still the same. Missing food for the same restaurant over and over again. They won't redeliver the missing food if it's less than 10 pounds. So if u order for a group of friend and one of u don't get the food, well, u ain't ever gonna get it redeliver. It's been a year and the service is still the same. No improvemnt. Really disappointing when the business don't improve their customer service or vet their restaurant properly.
More times than not my orders are rejected. I also have to wait about 10 minutes before finding out its been rejected. If certain items are not available let me know before I order them, and let me change my order instead of just rejecting it. If I'm expected to call the shop before placing my order I don't see why I'd bother using Deliveroo.
I order from this app often. App is ok but no cash option for payment. And 99% of the time the food is ice cold or ifs.its something cold I order like a milkshake it's just melted and overflowed In the bag.
Tried using app twice, both occasions food took much longer than estimated with no accurate updates. When trying to use live chat operators are always busy and no one gets back to you. UberEats is way better.
Most of the restaurants reject orders, when selecting items on most menus there is no option to remove certain items (I.e. where allergic) and the worst bit is there is no text box prior to order so I can't write to the kitchen about what I can/ can't eat. My promotional code has disappeared so it looks like it's back to überEats!
Bug fixes and performance enhancements might sound boring, but they make ordering food with Deliveroo even better. There’s nothing boring about that, right?
