The app is easy to use. The delivery is so far punctual 100% of the time. This is a big deal after experiencing repeated late delivery from another delivery service. It feels really great when both cold and hot items don't arrive lukewarm. I particularly like the allergy-request option.
May not get your food if you order when 'busy' --- Ordered food at 20:15 for 22:15 because the app said they were busy. Status was still on 'preparing' by 23:00, so I asked for my money back. I was told a shortage of riders caused the delay. Don't really care. I'm still hungry and it's too late to get anything else. You guys have one job, if you can't do it, then just don't take my order... Will try competing apps to see if they can get their one job right.
Would be great if there was Cash payment options like foodpanda. Delivery timings can really take a long time. Waiting over an hour just for my food. Plus the options are rather limited. I don't mind the app layout and it's easy to use.. just give us more variety and fix those timings!
I think it's great! I can order from my favourite restaurant which has a full vegan menu. I know it can take a while and there can be a shortage of riders but I know not a lot can be done about that so I'm still gonna give 5 stars! I also love that you can track your order.
Thanks to what seems to be a new 2km delivery cut off on the app, we can no longer get the food we want... an address only 150 meters down the road can get nearly all of the food we want. Dissatisfied loyal customer.
deliveroo customer service is a disaster I received 4 emails from deliveroo from 4 different people telling me the problem was solved... kenneth, jacqueline, aliah, pffff such a waste of time i did not receive 2/3 of my order and this happened so many times with deliveroo
