Ratings and reviews

It's crazy that this app doesn't have an option to see what places are open or close. Now, after placing a scheduled order (that I didn't want as the restaurant appeared at the top of my options), Im not even give the option to cancel. Customer service is very useless: telling me that because the restaurant accepted the order, I can't cancel it. BUT the restaurant is closed, they haven't even started preparing the food. Why can't I cancel?

It's 50-50 it's good for those like myself that are disabled and have difficulty getting out, However practically every order has items removed as not in stock which is frustrating, would be better if the app asked me if we don't have this what would you like as a substitute that's the same or less rather than not getting anything. Other Huge issue I've had far too often is items that I've paid for missing from bags then having to argue for a refund with deliveroo.

Theives! Great when you're food arrives, absolutely shocking customer service when it doesn't. Literally taking your money without you receiving your goods! Long messages and pointless phone calls, the app decides in approx 20 seconds if you're eligible to be compensated.... not sure how it carries out a thorough investigation in that time! Uber customer service is great in comparison, has same restaurants if not more, and regular offers. Would definitely recommend uber over these theives.
