Excellent wireless battery monitor device. Agree 100 percent with the long Sept. 20, 2017 review by Google user Vinny Pinto. Pain in the butt to set up the first one or two monitor devices becauz of flaky instructions and quirky app. But once you get the hang of setting up the monitor(s) initially, it is easy. They are very reliable once set up. Work very well. I use this app on two Android tablets w/large screens. Also on one Android phone. All work well, at home and when traveling.
This app is so bad that I now find it amusing. It is a total embarrassment, a comedy of errors, a primer on what not to do. I have come to believe that this is Deltran's April fools joke. If you need a battery monitor go elsewhere, If you need a good laugh from time to time this is the one for you!
I bought one of these from Autozone for my house generator battery, after the gen set failed to start during a power outage and I learned that the battery died. Setup on Android was very difficult. Please put in the instructions to shut down mobile data before using the app. Once I learned that, the device setup was not a problem. But you owe me 20 minutes of trying to set this up before I learned the trick from reviewers here.
Not too bad. Make sure you turn off mobile data before starting, then set up. App refreshes every 10 mins, kinda threw me off because I thought it wasn't working and kept running setup again. Just wait, eventually the battery will show up. Only thing I don't like is that it has to be connected to WiFi to work, not sure why, once it is set up, I can't check status on 4g? Kinda goofy. Otherwise, seems to be working ok.
A contender for worst app, worst instructions & generally worst execution/implementation of a product ever, in the history of apps. Breathtaking. Worse than worthless, you will want to be reimbursed for the time, effort and frustration spent on this catastrophe.
Never could get it to work. Neat idea, but lousy software. Infact worst app I have ever used. The connecting process is a pain and never could get it to work. Should not have this much trouble in 2017.
Monitors now display current voltage in-app
Server communication improvements
Improved low-state-of-charge notifications
Fixed several text and UI issues
Note: Depending on how recently devices were added, they may need to be reconfigured.
If you experience continued issues with configuring devices, please reinstall the app.
