A cool game, with lots of love put into it and a surpringly cool amount of content from beginning to endgame levels. If you like cool sprites and gacha games that don't beat you over the head about ingame purchases, give this game a go. The UI could use some work as it's not super responsive and does look like a casino's website at times, but that's really the only complaint I have.
Brings back great memories! I love the variety of characters that they have included in the game. I just wish it had a more traditional RPG feel. It's a mishmash of moments in time that you sort of reinact with random characters. It's a fun light incursion into all of the FF games you have played or a fanciful romp into older games for new fans. Either way you look at it, it's a fun way to pass the time and visit some realms that allow you a window into the past. I just wish they didn't have a pay to play element, but I "get it."
Free Game That's Actually A Game This is a must-have for any Final Fantasy fan. Unlike most free to play apps, it's not a series of microtransactions with a thin veneer of game on top. You can get some advantages from spending money, but you can have a solid game experience without spending a penny, and nothing is off-limits behind a paywall- paying lets you play more often and get equipment faster, but the stamina meter that determines how long you can keep playing replenishes quickly and is perfect for 15-20 minute sessions over the day.
This game is great for old school ff gamers to relive their memories. Extra points for exposing young players to the epicness of turn-based combat and the fantastic musical scores of Final Fantasies past. EDIT: I played for nearly a year at this point and continue to be blown away by the progress they have made. They have added so many great features. And they all cater to the player. True new content and features that give you more. And you can 100% love this game 4 free.
Its been good so far (Edit: 1 year later. STILL good) Normally i hate energy games, limiting you to how much you can advance in a single play. This one is so fun to play though, and i enjoy the throwbacks to all my FF games. (Edit: the game is still doing well, with way more features and heroes than I can keep track of. Its only gotten better since Ive been playing it.)
Awesome turn based, strategery. It has the feel of the FF3 combat system but with any character from the franchise. This game pretty much represents the stories of every final fantasy game but its streamlined to be solely combat and crafting. All of the boring cinematics and open world exploration stripped in favor of pure unadulterated Final Fantasy combat.
