Proper hilarious only today my partner was banging on about some sixty odd year old port star on jezzer and I was able to weave in some of my new found humorous quips from this extensive fountain of humour. ''I bet her fanny is more pawe'd n worn-out out than David Attenborough's passport'' I exclaimed her reply started with lol.....can't ask fer more then that punters!
Without doubt funniest thing on the planet! Absolutely superb. Had it years and years in book form and 'freebies' on the covers if Viz mag. Undoubtably the funniest book/app on the planet. Id love to meet the creators! Keep up the good work lads and thanks for the hours and hours of 'laughing out loud'. I've recommended it to dozend and dozens of similar minded mates for you! ps- the only app i have ever taken time out to rate!
Couldn't live without this app, when I'm struggling to find a word that fits a situation it never fails to disappoint. Worth every penny! Awesome app which comes in real handy during meetings at work. Always loved viz in my younger days, now I'm never without it. Great work!
App needs work... The material is hilarious, but the app has serious flaws. The search function is basically useless because it cannot find entries that are clearly in the database, e.g. it finds "Dog's Marriage" under marriage but not under dog or dog's. And it only searches the entry, not the whole definition, which limits its usefulness. Also, when you back out of an entry in 'A to Z' or 'search' it remembers where you were in the list, but back out of one of your favourites and it sends you to the beginning of your list.
A great way to spend time Pick this up for a moment and you'll likely be giggling away for ten minutes or more. Intuitive interface, loads of content. Needs a tiny bit odd refinement re: links but this doesn't get in the way of enjoyment.
Spot On I kept my paper version by the toilet and read a few pages per performance, but had to leave it behind when I moved to a strict Muslim country. Now I have it on my phone, I have it wherever I go. It's handy for those occasions when a simile is necessary or whenever I need to crimp one off. Thanks Roger. XXX
* Now it's the new year, Roger has put away his Christmas outfits, and is back to normal. Happy swearing!
