About this app

★ Backup your Android playlists online
★ Restore them on any Android devices

Download our (beta) desktop app for .m3u playlists syncing!

- This app only backups your playlists, not your audio files ! (so that a backup can be performed in a few seconds)
- Your audio files must have the same file names on your different devices.
- Doesn't work with Google Play (unless you use our free app Playlist Manager Pro, more info in-app)

- Sign in with Google to create a PlaylistSync account.
- Internet: needed to backup your playlists.
- Read external storage: needed to access your playlists.
- Write external storage: needed to restore your playlists.

I can't see my playlists !
Some music players use their own playlists systems instead of the default one from Android, so PlaylistSync won't support them (Playlist Backup may help you with that).
Incompatible : Poweramp, Google Play Music, RealPlayer, etc.
Compatible : PlayerPro, Rocket Player, jetAudio, etc.

How should my music files be named ?
If every single music file has a different name, it's fine. (For example : you shouldn't have multiple "audio01.mp3" in different folders)
Else, you'll maybe have to use the Path substitution option to make sure PlaylistSync finds the correct audio files on different devices.

Both following condition should be fulfilled, else this option is useless :
- You have multiple audio files with the same name.
- You have devices that store you music differently, and you would like to sync playlists between them (/mnt/sdcard/Music/somefile.mp3 and on the other device : /storage/emulated/0/Music/somefile.mp3)

Additional information
This app doesn't use the .M3U format anymore, but please contact us if you're interested in M3U import/exports!

This app is the only app that allowed me to transfer all 49 playlists from one phone Samsung phone to another. I have over 20,000 songs on an sd card and didn't want to organize it from scratch. Samsung, dropbox and smart switch can only assist with transfer the music from one phone to the next. Which is kinda unless if you plan on moving your sd card to your new device. Moving the playlist was my biggest challenge and this app did just that. Thanks!!

Thabk you for this incredibly helpful app. In the age of music streaming it's hard to find apps that help out us local-media users. Would be nice to also have a local-backup option. Also scheduled backup/restores? My playlists delete themselves whenever my phone restarts (phone issue not your app) so it would be nice to run a restore of the most recent backup on boot/etc!

Hi, thank you for the review :) Please update to version 2.0 before the 6th of December to not loose your backups! Also, in this new version, you'll find a new (premium) "Auto-backup" feature ;) Local backups/web exports might also come one day. Cheers, Nathan

Consistently had problems with this app. I assumed they would eventually be fixed. No. They got worse. App currently CANNOT see or otherwise locate my 27 'Samsung Music' Playlists (5,300+ songs). It certainly CANNOT backup a list it can neither find nor access. It did however successfully waste my time. Thus, a very good app to kill time and test your patience.
