About this app

iXYt gathers information about concerts, theater performances, sports games and tournaments from event organizers as well as online and local ticket agents and presents it directly on the map of your chosen country, city, town or district.

No matter if it’s a circus show, opera, football match, conference, market or festival, all you have to do is enter the name of your desired event into the search box and the application will find it for you. You can also change the dates and find out the exact distance from your current location.

iXYt is great if you are new in town and you want an overview of which kinds of events are on offer. iXYt lets you do this for anywhere in the world.

Thinking about where to go tonight? What do you want to do? See a movie, attend a premiere, watch a performance, or go to a nightclub?

All results will be displayed in clusters directly on the map around your current location. Clicking on a cluster will expand it and change the scale of the overview, allowing you to read descriptions of events, buy tickets, and even click on the poster for a specific event or watch a trailer.

If the application does not suggest an event to your liking (auctions, benefit performances, business events, concerts, holiday-themed events, meetings, touring shows, symphonies, events with fireworks or festivals, city and town festivals, carnivals, Christmas-themed events, quests, parades, markets and fairs), then you can simply enter a synonym of the event you are looking for: auction sales, ballet performances, city carnivals, children's matinees, concerts and shows.

The application's map can be easily moved in different directions and you can zoom in and out to find the most interesting events for you.

iXYt works similarly to a standard Google map with the addition of a time axis. All cultural, educational and sporting events are placed directly on the map in the form of markers. You also have the option of changing the scale and your location by country or city.

Where do you want to go today? What do you want to do? Or tomorrow? Maybe something close to home? Or maybe you are looking for something for next week, next month, on vacation, on a business trip, in another city, in another country or continent where you don't speak the language?

Everyone has been in the same situation. You are new to a place and you want to find something fun to do. So you browse different websites, study endless lists of events, and at the same time try to figure out the distance between your current location and the location of an event. This is all the more difficult when you are in a foreign country with an unfamiliar language and you don't know your way around.

With iXYt you can find out about events happening close to you or anywhere in the world. All you need to do is answer three questions: what, where and when. By default the system displays all events based on your current location, but you can easily change the settings so you can find out what's on offer in advance.

All of this is encrypted in the name of the iXYt project: i = information; XY = coordinates on a map; t = date and time. We chose this name specially because the phonetics are the same in all languages.

The WHAT filter allows you to define the event you are looking for by entering any keyword. Multiple languages are supported.

The colored circles on the map are clusters, which are a set of markers clustered together. By zooming in large clusters divide into smaller ones, which further divide into individual red markers, each representing a single event. Each event displays information as to its name, address and time.

Clicking on a marker reveals a detailed description of the event with the possibility to purchase tickets.

The main source of information for iXYt markers are our regularly updated databases of existing events websites (aggregators).

Let iXYt help you get more out of your vacation!
