The close button doesn't work on ads but you have to view an ad to add a widget. So there's literally no way to put the widget to your home screen. Edit: Turns out the ads causing the issue were from Google and out of the apps's control. However, the Days To customer service was absolutely phenomenal in helping me resolve the issue so I'm changing to 5 stars. Glad we were able to work thorough the problem because I've tried many other countdown apps and this one is by far the best.

There are way too many ads. Creating a countdown takes 3 or 4 steps, and there is an advertisement after each step. Also, almost half the time, my stuff doesn't save, even though I hit 'save' Disgustingly horrible app. It would be quicker and less frustrating to just use your phones calendar and put a number in each day.

This app used to work wonderfully, but lately, not so much. For quite a while, my widget doesn't update. I have to go into the app, hit the checkmark, and then it updates the count. Despite the developer response, I never let my phone get below 15% battery, and I have opened the app numerous times since the issue began. It's definitely not a "me" problem.
