Very useful free companion app, I didn't realize you could use the app on your own local server. I would love to see auto-open to a selected server. And the ability to disable audio in the app so that it stops conflicting with other video and audio playing on the device. There is also an issue with connection timeouts to local servers after putting the app in the background in android WebView when using port 8090. Port 80 hasn't had issues. This also happens in Chrome.

This is a great mobile client for Agent (on PC here). Which I have moved to after 5 years of using iSpy. Agent is better. It's hard to overstate how uniquely flexible and powerful Agent is. The UI deserves awards but it's the Photoshop of CCTV software: there is a learning curve, so read the help. I see none of the problems others mention: it's rock solid here on a 1Gb wired + mesh LAN. It works fine on 4g via browser or this app. I don't resent the remote server charge: all the rest is free.

The two issues I had were quickly solved in the same day. Thanks, Sean. I learned that one must configure the PTZ settings on each camera in order to zoom in on them during a live video feed. It makes sense when you think about it, but I was just trying to pinch zoom and finger pan on the live feed. If your camera doesn't support PTZ then you can still set it to DIGITAL and use the PTZ controls as if it did. It works ok, but a welcome improvement would be to support pinch zoom.
