Perfect! Finally, one that works! (Might stop calls/texts getting through when open)*Works when you don't have a password set*Works when you're connecting your laptop to your tv*Has full punctuation available*This is the 5th remote app I've tried and the only one that's worked. The ONLY things it doesn't do are insert line breaks and pinch zoom. Also you have to switch from keyboard to mouse just to right click. Incorporating a small scroll/zoom bar and right button to the main pad would be useful. Thanks!
I like it The mouse is great. I am using on a standard PC. Added shortcut to startup folder so will run on startup. Volume control is cool, keyboard works, arrow keys work too. The only things I can't get to work is the fast-forward, backward, stop, and play. I really wish I could get those buttons to work because I listen to music all the time on shuffle and it would be awesome to be able to fast forward to next shuffled song. I use either Windows media player or Zune software to listen to music.
Fantastic, but simple client requires some 90's tricks This is by far the most usable program of this type I've used and it combines mouse control with short cuts. The mouse control is quite responsive with a good network environment and works a reasonable distance from the router. I use this program to control the computer upstairs when I am downstairs, using Big Picture Mode on my TV with the help of the apps quick launch short cuts. Thanks to placing a short cut in the Startup folder (a trick forgotten for about 15 years,) I never have to worry if its running. However, this brings to my biggest problem with the client side software, the short cuts you can add are limited to .exe's, short cuts to .exe's, .vbs files and a couple of others. To run Steam games, which use the steam:// protocol, I have had to create a batch file (another trick from my windows 95 days) and then convert this file to an exe (because the client also doesn't allow .bat's.) It does however allow .vbs files, which allows the use of keyboard commands i.e. Ctrl+Escape, which has proved oddly invaluable when away from a keyboard. Thanks for the program, but a more accommodating client would be greatly appreciated.
Awesome software I love it... I can handle my PC from my bed.. very friendly for watching movie.. specially when Mma is at home... :-P
