Could be amazing but without push notifications it gets forgotten about in a sea of apps on my homescreen. This feature has been endlessly requested years yet the developers just ignore the calls. I'm having to use Palabre instead (with Tesla Unread) because I want to know when a new story/article is there to read. Have almost given up on Feedly because of the lack of push notifications.

Best Reader with a few nits to pick. Smooth, great gesture controls, reads rss feeds like a champ. OneNote integration is awesome and welcome. Solid category management, as well. Bad? Force restart any time focus is lost, if using an external browser, switch to other app, turn on always use external browser, auto mark read... If it wouldn't restart and just keep its place it'd be pretty close to perfect. I wouldn't mind being able to skip the in app preview of the feed and go straight to web site. Or at least move the view on website button to the top. Still, it's simple, easy, fast, and is the best out there. One of the essential apps everyone should have on their device. Two thumbs up!

Android and IOS versions have user interface differences which is annoying when you use both platforms. That said the app is probably the best cross platform rss reader out there. The only other thing is that icons for the stories in my feed don't seem to load without a manual refresh when in magazine or card view.

Developer helped fix an issue I saw previously. Recently I tried instapaper integration built in to the app. This doesn't seem to work, though sharing to instapaper through Android seems to work fine. Trying to share to Facebook through integrated sharing filter results in "no title". The app also has problems with split screen.

I like the ability to sync my feeds over multiple platforms but after this long on the market the browser shouldn't suck (why don't you just let us use OUR browsers?) and its frequent inability to play video is annoying. And good grief, stop asking me to rate you! Minus one star every time you do that!

I've been using Feedly since the demise of Google Reader and been very happy with it. However, it has recently been crashing for no apparent reason. I can't even get through reading one post without it crashing. I hope it gets fixed soon as is hate to go look for a new Reader.

Hi Jonathan,we’re so sorry for that. Up for sharing with us a little bit more here or at care@feedly.com? Thank you so much. If think it's okay but struggle to work out how to sort feeds. I actually uninstalled then reinstalled to clear a mistake because I couldn't see how to delete or move feeds. Update: uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix the folders (I still don't know how I created it). Sorry Feedly, although you appear to do a great job bringing together feeds, managing the feeds after adding is not intuitive. Uninstalled for good.
In fact terrible isn't enough to describe it! Seriously you have to do better...loved the navigation flow... But the fact it cannot get the whole story and I have to go to the website just ruins this. Need to have better offline capabilities.

Hi George, sorry to hear this, partial feeds where you have to go to the website are not something we can influence as the publisher decides if their RSS feed will be full or partial. Thank you for understanding. The idiosyncratic auto-refresh is killing the usability of the app, refreshing 10+ times in a single session, and the dev is silent since I assume their model is based on a pseudo-push economic framework. Time to revisit other options.
I use Freedly almost daily. It gives me an organized feed of all of the sources I want without noise. I use it for articles, podcasts, recorded broadcasts, and even TED talks. Keep up the good work!
Feedly is really a great news reader, period. They fixed a content-editing bug, just as they've fixed several others, quickly and completely. They haven't brought me a glass of tea while I'm reading; that's the only improvement I could suggest to them now.
Ever since LinkedIn bought out and ruined Pulse (before eventually closing it down) feedly has been the last bastion of hope out there with its amazing aggregated news app. It is the best one in my opinion and I hope it only changes for the better if it is ever acquired by a larger company.
It's an OK app. Still not as good as the old Google Reader, but it does work and it's reliable. The crippled search is annoying and expensive to register to get full version.
Terrible ui. Only showing the feedly logo on a black background. No way to delete feeds in a category. Because of the terrible ui, did not even look for a setting that puts notifications on. Wanted to set it up to show a local rss feed of hail warnings. It does not work that way.
Need an option to not load images, to save data. Would be the perfect app! Otherwise a well designed and executed app, of great value each day to get caught up, thanks Feedly for replacing Google Reader!!

Hi, we’re so sorry for this. Can you please try to delete the caches and restart your device? It should help. www.androidauthority.com/android-6-0-marshmallow-how-to-clear-app-data-and-cache-647355/ Not reliable since recent update. Pages don't load and it seems much slower. Too many icons. Not helpful.
Crashes frequently. Built-in Browser takes forever to open articles would be better with an option to open articles in default browser.
With the app set to 'Extra Large' text, I was hoping for some 16-18 point font for browsing and reading. Even with my tablet settings on 'Extra Large' as well, the headlines in this app are a barely readable 12 point and article synopses an unreadable 10. Reading size looks to be 14 points. Am using the app even though I would rather use something else.

Hello Tracy, thank you so much for your feedback, we'll let our design team to implement a larger text options. It's a good resource but it would be nice to have the whole article available if you want to read more about the topic instead of a super short sentence that hardly says anything that could possibly fill you in
The search bar was overlayed by my notifications bar, making it nearly impossible to type into. Also, I couldn't figure out how to add custom rss feeds into the app--it seems like if you can't find a site by searching, you're out of luck. I'm using an LG K10.
No longer works with Keyboard and mouse on Chrome OS - worked fine before the update! Please check the code against a chromebook running Android apps. Apart from this niggle - my go to feed reader on any device!
users requested a list+thump scroll widget like google reader or greader 4 years ago, but the current widget still sucks, is extremely basic and no config options at all.
♠Don't close the app with the back button! ♠Scroll bar not visible on the dark theme ♠An option for a "switch theme" button in the navigation bar would be useful ♠Settings page should adhere to the theme ♠No way to see paid features/upgrade
This is a great Google reader replacement, just needs a way to read the articles off line. There is no download mode that would be useful.
4 instead of 5 stars because of the long load time on cold starts and the awkward back and forth article swiping which skips over an article sometimes for no reason
Feedly Team 14 June 2017
Hello Jason, we’ve just fixed it, if you’ll update the app, it should work fine now. About one time in twenty, when I swipe an article to the left, in order to see the next one, instead of instantly showing the article in the "decluttered" form, it opens a built-in web browser and slowly downloads it, with tiny text, and ads; and then swiping won't get me to the next article; I have to hit the "back" button to get to the list of articles, find the entry for the next one, and tap it.
App works well enough, but needs a proper article list widget, and the interface is based on confusing gestures. After a month I still can't remember which way to swipe to mark read and unread - just give me old-fashioned buttons and checkboxes, please!
keeps crashing with Android o. Update, I was told update coming this week. Will update again Ok, update on 6/15/2017. The issue has been fixed! Thanks Feedly team!

Hello Dave, we’ve just fixed it, if you’ll update the app, it should work fine now. This lousy update crashed whenever i tried to open a link to the New York Times. Goodbye, buggy Feedly!

Sorry. There was a bug. We fixed it in the 17.1 version we just released. Can you please upgrade? If you are satisfied by the fix, can you please update your rating? Thanks for helping make feedly a better product. -Edwin Was crashing constantly in Android Or, DP3 but I got a response from the dev a day later with fixes. Can't complain about that.

Hello Michael, we’ve just fixed it, if you’ll update the app, it should work fine now. This app is great and I also use the Chrome version, which as you know features plenty of themes. Please please please can we have more themes? A slate grey with feedly green would be great! Thanks.
Lovely looking app so far. Features are working. I initially had trouble with the Menu button not working, but appears to be working now.
It does everything I want it to -- displays breaking news, organizes my feeds, shares articles. Very good
While I like the sort of "grab bag" of topics and sources, I wish there were more controls to refine my news feeds. Otherwise, I'm a fan!
Feedly auto refreshes in the middle of your article if the app loses focus. Really really annoying!
Feedly Team 25 April 2017
Sorry Justin, we'll work on this in the upcoming months. I get all my news and deals in one convenient spot without having multiple tabs open. Great app!
Look, I use Feedly every single day and I have done for years. It's my primary source of news and I love it but....there needs to be a way for me to set exclusions. I don't want to see anything about Kardashians please.
I've used Feedly for years. What I really love is the way that categories are presented in a really nice digest format, so regardless of the number of feeds I have in each category, I end up with the best content. Well done on an excellent product that's true to the spirit of RSS, Feedly!
Muchísimas páginas no sé muestran completas y se debe acceder para terminar de leer los artículos. Más allá de eso, me encanta la aplicación, muy fácil de usar con los gestos, a las páginas las vuelve más legibles
Feedly is a solid application with good performance. I use it to keep up to date with both my professional and hobby interests daily. The integration with their website simplifies management of feeds and organizing groups as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a feed reader.
