Like that you can see what insulin dose you last took, and all the setting. Wished there was a little more pressie control over alerts. But very glad to have it. Makes management much much easier. Finally glad they made it for the bigger Android market. Now just hoping for a quick rseolution to the bluetooth connectivity issue, in the Last Verizon update. Not able to connect via Bluetooth anymore, but really looking forward to it being fixed.
Still no support for Pixel 2 or Samsung Note 8, very disappointing. Now I have to carry around a iPhone as well as my Android phone just to use this system. Please open up support for more devices. If you need testers I would be glad to. Also why in the play store does it allow me to install the app on my Pixel 2 xl only then during setuo it tell me it's not supported. You should have it set to not show up for anything but supported devices.
The good news, is that now I have one less piece of hardware to carry around in my pocket!!! Love having it on my phone. Things that need to be changed: I don't need the status bar to show a generic Dexcom icon, I need it to show my current BS level. My weather app somehow figured out how to the display the current temp on the status bar, why can't Dexcom figure it out? This way I can see my level without having to open my screen. Next, when entering a BG meter amount/calibration, after keying in the number it prompts you to save the value, you press "SAVE" and then it prompts you a second time to "SAVE" the value....seriously? 3 keystrokes to complete a calibration? Ugh!!
My last Android was too old for this app. I saw the supported phone list, but was under the impression it was useable on other Android's and just not guaranteed to function properly. I have the pixel 2 and wondering how different one Android is from another? They are all the same base OS, ya? Please allow the pixel 2 to be a useable product with this app....I need it. Thank you.
It would be great if the app worked with LG Fortune phones. Y'all specifically have it set up with iPhones and Samsung phones but some of us use other Android brands like LG Fortune and the app is not compatible with. It would be nice to have consideration of people like me. Without the app on my phone, my husband can't keep track of my sugars.
Worked great at first. I have a Samsung S8 and recently (two weeks ago) started getting constant repeated and extended signal loss alerts. My phone is always by me. Very frustrating. I've talked to Dexcom, sent in for a new transmitter and the problem persists even after replacing. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the app to no avail. Now I'm resigned to constantly disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth to see my glucose levels.
