The Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom CGM system.

Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app.

Dexcom Follow is the perfect companion to your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, connecting you to those nearest and dearest to you, even when they’re far away. Through secure wireless connections, Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow the glucose levels, trends and data of your loved ones.

Whether you have a child who is in school, an elderly parent who lives on their own, or a spouse who is going on a business trip, Dexcom Follow is there to keep you connected and informed.

With Dexcom Follow, you can:
• Monitor your loved one’s glucose activity at school or anywhere they go.
• Receive glucose information of up to 10 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones.
• Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside the usual ranges.

Ratings and reviews

App doesn't work on Android - "Server Unavailable". It's a shame that such a company with a great product neglects a simple (!) software App. If the engineering capacity is a problem, please reach out to me for software agencies recommendations, in any other cases I'd be more than happy to help as well (I'm from the IT industry). Keeping my fingers crossed for a turnaround!

This app was written by the most stupid programmers I ever meet...it's buggy, slow and non-reliable. However when you stuck with that dexcom hardware probably you have no choice...For everyone who gets "no server available" message right after install, so the app is unusable 🤦- just change your phone language to the associated with your country language and install it again. Now it will work, you will go through all the legal notices, then you can change the language back and it still works 🤷

2 major problems right now: first, the app keeps disconnecting all the time for no reason (and no notifications are heard, which is the main purpose of using it), to resume following I need to reopen the app and untill then the app is useless, and remember it might be a matter of life saving... And second, while changing the time span of the graph - time scale is not updated, which means I see wrong hours with the data. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!
