About this app

This Android application allows you to quickly and securely read data from the Electronic Identity Card (CEI) using NFC technology. Simply enable NFC on your phone, enter CAN, enter PIN(4 digits), place your CEI near the device, and the information will instantly appear on your screen.

🔑 Key Features:
• NFC reading of identification data stored on the CEI chip.
• Detailed display of information: surname, given name, national ID number, sex, nationality, date and place of birth, domicile, and document details (number, issue date, expiry date).
• Cardholder’s photo, when available on the chip.
• Save as PDF – export identification details, including domicile, for archiving or later use.
• Quick re-check option for repeated scans.

🔒 Security & Privacy
• All data stays on your device – nothing is sent externally.
• Information can only be exported when you explicitly choose to (PDF, share).
• No personal data collection, no third-party transmissions.

Ratings and reviews

The NFC reader does not work. Always has a reading error. Typical Romanian-made things, completely useless! Update after app update. Still can't read the ID. Now I get a new error" Cod CAN invalid" The app let's me read my wife's ID, but not mine. My ID card is readable I used it somewhere.

Fails even tough correct data is inserted. How bad is the IT departmanet, as they are not really capable to address a corresponding error message related to the issue? Also why is the APP not working with Samsung devices as on my wife phone worka Huawei and on mine Samaung keeps failing!

Only working after a dozen tries. One of the following errors appear most of the times: 'Cod CAN invalid' even though it's the right code and PIN or 'A aparut o eroare'.
