Ultrasonic frequencies do not travel between walls. Do not place your phone behind couches, curtains or other "soft" items which will absorb rather than reflect the ultrasonic frequencies.
The application might not work in certain environments where it is moist or loud environments (since it will block the signal). We advice the app to be active in the foreground for maximum repellent. If the app is run in the background it will run in low power mode (the signal will activate at specifically calculated intervals). In less optimal environments the application might not work the first try.
Warning: It is possible to adjust the frequency of the application, but it is not advised to do so. It can affect other animals (like your dogs and cats) if you do so. If the default settings disturbs your pet, lower the frequency. Normally the default setting will be optimal.
Please note that the app is only reliable for relatively deep wells, since a clear echo has to be detected. At least 5-10 meters (15-30 feet) to the water is required.
Start Well Sonar and press settings in the menu. Here the dimensions of the well can be adjusted. E.g. well pipe diameter, depth of pump or injector, etc. The settings are saved for following usage of the app.
The measurement is performed by pressing the big red button followed by a manual knock on the cover of the well. The knock should generate a clearly heard echo, preferably multiple echoes. For best results, aim the microphone at the bottom of the phone towards the well.
Press the button again when no more echoes can be heard. If the app detected the echoes, the amount of remaining water will be shown.
The accuracy of the measurement can be seen at the bottom of the screen. Accuracy is rated high if multiple echoes of the same length could be detected. If accuracy is not good, try producing better echoes by knocking with a different object or holding the phone closer to the well as well as keeping background noise at a minimum.
ON Ruler is smart and easy to use. You can measure the length and width of any objects that in the range of your screen size by simply place it on the device's screen and move the line limiters one after another. The dimensions of the object (width, length and area) will shows on the screen automatically. To measure objects that larger than your device's screen size, you can use ON Measuring Tape, ON-2D Camera Measure or ON-3D Camera Measure (Free measuring tools).
For perfect accuracy, you will be requested to do calibration at the first time you open the application. Calibration need to be carried out only one time per installation.
With ON Ruler, now you always bring a ruler with you as in your smart phone.
Mode 1: 2-LINES RULER
Place the measured object on the screen and align the object boundaries to the left and top edge of screen. After that, move the vertical and horizontal line limiters to aligned with the object's right and bottom boundaries. The width and length of object will be display on the screen. (Refer preview image 1 and image 6)
Mode 2: 4-LINES RULER
Place the measured object anywhere on the screen. After that, move the 4 line limiters to aligned with the object's left, right, top and bottom boundaries. (Refer preview image 2 and image 5)

The distinctive feature of the Telemeter Tool is two options:
Choose Hand-Mode when the exact height of the camera is unknown and you are on the ground holding the device in you hands.
Enter your height and smart algorithm estimates the camera height. You don't need to enter the exact camera height, as required in other applications. Since you know your height exactly, you can start measurements immediately. This is an advantage of using Hand-mode. This mode requires to hold and move your camera as shown in measurement guide that is included in the app.
If the exact height of the camera from the ground is known, Stand-Mode is to be used.
Stand-mode doesn't make any assumption about your position. Exact camera height leads to more accurate measurement results. You can use this mode in different situations or build your own camera measurement setup.
Measurements can be conducted in metric and imperial units: feet, meters, inches. Angles are measured in degrees.
With the Telemeter you can measure:
- distance from you (observer) to an object
- distance between points in direction 'from an observer'
- distance between two points in a plane
- object dimensions (depth, height, width, length)
- height from the ground level
- height of big objects or a person
- angles between planes (e.g. between two walls)
- angles between two orientations in the space
- angles in horizontal or vertical planes

Shallow charge dramatically improves the cycle life of both Li-ion battery and NiMh battery. There are no constrains on the camera direction or position relative to the measured object. Unlike 2D-CameraMeasure, the reference object/measured object plane not necessary to be parallel to the camera plane. This make ON 3D more powerful and flexible to measure anything at anywhere. It can be used as or even replace ruler and measuring tape in many situation where the traditional measuring method is not enough or difficult to apply.
ON 3D-CameraMeasure is extra useful especially if you want to measure
1) Large object where simple ruler and measuring tape are not enough or difficult to apply. For example, angle of roof, area of a swimming pool, diameter of a roundabout, dimension of a football field, height of a wall, dimension of a room, distance from one side to another, etc.
2) Objects that are difficult or impossible to access. For example, outer dimension of a building, windows on a high wall, screen size in a cinema, object mounted on ceiling, area of solar panel on a roof, etc.
It lets you measure anything in the fastest and easiest way as long as there is any rectangular object as reference.
ON 3D-CameraMeasure performs non-contact measurement by using the device's camera and any rectangular object with known size as reference. The accuracy of this apps is highly depends on how well the user move the points to aligned with object boundaries when doing calibration or measuring. Please be noted that small error in calibration might causes large inaccurate in measurements. In order to achieve high accuracy, please try to use largest possible reference object. For example, please do not use A4 paper as reference object if you have A3 paper. From so many experiment we have done so far, the average accuracy is lie between (+)(-)2.5%.
