2 years since they ruined this app and there's no improvement. They still think that opening the keyboard when you open the search bar is a bad idea - why don't you just look at this list of words you've already looked up? Most importantly, it continuously spams you with notifications even after you turn them off, sometimes even the same notification multiple times per day.

Hello Tom! We're so sorry! Please try fully uninstalling the app, then reinstall it from the app store. Note that after reinstallation, you may need to restore your purchases (if any): https://dictionary.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/226230287-How-do-I-restore-my-purchases-upgrades- Hope that helps and thanks for using our app!

Very good at first 6/16/2020. But then after free version update, the whole app changed negatively: such as having to know the exact spelling of a word. Sorry i updated. Previously, different various words would appear as i typed. After purchase is worst, now simply typing words crashes and closes the app. Like today, the word 'colon' crashed and closed the app. I had to try numerous times, come online, try more times for it to finally appear. I tried to update for fix, none exist. 2022-1202

GREAT app, and the content and presentation is bested by only the OED, imo. However, there is a serious issue with the upgrades requiring payment. The price is not the issue at all, but rather that whenever I've gotten a new phone and then re-downloaded the app or even opened it upon completion of a device data transfer procedure, none of the content I've previously purchased is available, which requires new payment and elicits frustration (somewhat contemptuously). Please disabuse us of this!

Ensure you are logged in to the *same* Play Store account that made the original purchase. Then, download the correct Dictionary app that corresponds with your prior purchase. If you had an in-app purchase in our free app, you may then also need to Restore Purchases. Steps here: https://dictionary.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/226230047
