2 years since they ruined this app and there's no improvement. They still think that opening the keyboard when you open the search bar is a bad idea - why don't you just look at this list of words you've already looked up? Most importantly, it continuously spams you with notifications even after you turn them off, sometimes even the same notification multiple times per day.

My complaint is the same as a number of people. I have plenty of storage on my phone, strong wifi signal. Offline dictionary DOES NOT WORK!! One of two reasons for purchasing the app instead of free! (No ads is other reason). This issue is still not resolved! Extremely frustrating and disappointing!!

GREAT app, and the content and presentation is bested by only the OED, imo. However, there is a serious issue with the upgrades requiring payment. The price is not the issue at all, but rather that whenever I've gotten a new phone and then re-downloaded the app or even opened it upon completion of a device data transfer procedure, none of the content I've previously purchased is available, which requires new payment and elicits frustration (somewhat contemptuously). Please disabuse us of this!

Ensure you are logged in to the *same* Play Store account that made the original purchase. Then, download the correct Dictionary app that corresponds with your prior purchase. If you had an in-app purchase in our free app, you may then also need to Restore Purchases. Steps here: https://dictionary.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/226230047
