About this app

"Onsen Life" is a hot spring app that gathers information on over 11,000 hot springs, public baths, and saunas throughout Japan, as well as information on over 350 hot spring towns. Search, visit, and record—all in one app.

【Search】
- Search facilities by keyword, prefecture/city/town, or hot spring town.
- Display facilities in order of proximity to your current location. On the map, you can switch between searching for "Nearby Facilities" and "Facilities Nationwide."
- Filter by type (day-trip hot springs, inns, public baths, super sento, saunas, footbaths, etc.) and by conditions such as open-air baths, saunas, parking, restaurants, and tattoo-friendly options.
- On facility pages, you can check opening hours, prices, access, official website, facilities, water quality, reviews, and photos. Information on temporary closures and business shutdowns is also reflected.

[Getting to Know Hot Spring Towns]
- For each hot spring town across Japan, including Kusatsu, Beppu, Hakone, Dogo, and Noboribetsu, we provide a comprehensive introduction to the water quality and effects, access, sights to see, local specialties, seasonal events, walking routes, and facilities within the hot spring town.
- You can also record your visits to hot spring towns with "Want to go" and "Visited".

[Recording: Onsen Kiroku]
- Record the hot springs you've visited with the date, rating, number of sauna sets, and notes. You can also record your baths at home.
- Review your visits on a calendar, and the system automatically compiles monthly visits, prefecture breakdowns, rankings of frequently visited facilities, and photo albums.
- Records are set to private by default. Making it public allows you to share it on the timelines of people you follow.

[Go Later]
- Save facilities you're interested in to "Want to Go" or "Favorites" to plan your next hot spring trip.

[Connect]
- Follow other users and like/comment on their public records.
- Share the latest information about facilities by posting reviews and photos.

[Premium Membership]
- We offer subscriptions (monthly/annual) that allow you to hide ads and use member badges, etc.

Onsen Life operates on the same database as the web version (onsen-life.com), and accounts are shared. From finding your first hot spring to recording your hot spring hopping, we make everyday life with hot springs more enjoyable.
