Want to love it more... Saw a great feature on Foreflight that adds approach plates overlays to enroute charts for nice planning/situational awareness. Any plans to do so with Pilot?
App keeps on stopping. Cannot depend on it. It's too bad. It once was a great app. Please refund my subscription.
Runs smoothly on my Nexus 9. Anticipating new features.
New version crashes! A Google user is right. Brand new version crashes within seconds of startup. Great to have it crash when I was flying near convective buildups. Thanks, Garmin!
Caution with the Update to 5.3.0 6-14-16 Update: A complete uninstall/reinstall seems to have fixed the issue. Be sure to test the update on the ground thoroughly before launching. 6-14-16 Do NOT DOWNLOAD NEW VERSION 5.3.0. IT CRASHES EVERY, SINGLE TIME.
No updated version It is very disappointing that the latest version is only available on IOS. Android only offers 5.2.2 version and not latest with logbook, etc. I want to like this app a lot but cannot for that issue alone. Another reason why Garmin Pilot is letting Foreflight win the battle. Lets go GP and Android. Get with the program before you lose another android follower. Especially now with very good inexpensive EFB's (ie, Iflygps,Droid EFB,Avare) and ADS-b's to rival Stratus & GDL-39 (ie, Stratux).
Version 5.3.2 contains bug fixes for version 5.3.0:
- Added support for the D2 Bravo Series Watch.
- Added weather and Best Runway to the Airport Widget summary.
- Added a print option for charts.
- Added shortcut buttons on the sides of a chart that will load the next or previous chart in the binder.
- Added sorting options for PIREPs on the map.
- Updated app notification icon for material design.
