📊 BATTERY USE
 
Accu​Battery measures the actual battery usage using information from the battery charge controller. Battery usage per app is determined by combining these measurements with information on which app is in the foreground. Android calculates battery usage using pre-baked profiles that device manufacturers provide, like how much power the CPU uses. In practice however, these numbers tend to be highly inaccurate.

Odd that I never wrote a review for this. I've used this app for a long time, its been really helpful. Unfortunately Android has been doing its best to make sure apps like this are shut down to "save power" but this one on my mobile phone (Android 13) still runs proper (Android 15, does not). My one complaint, is that there's no way to in-app say you got a new battery, the only way is a full reset of the app and all its data. :/ Still though, helped me get my battery to 2,000 cycles (6 years).

Very accurate with good information. Attractive UI. Has a nice, adjustable alarm that triggers when the charging battery reaches the charge amount that you set. If you only charge your battery usually only to 80%, it will extend your the life of your battery. I used this app on my last phone for 4 years and the battery was still in pretty good shape. Great app that really does work. It is worth the money for the pro version. I wish it showed battery temp and alert when it gets too high.

My last phone stopped charging automatically when it reached 80%, for maximum battery life. This app only alerts me with a wimpy, 1- second chime that is easy to miss, allowing it to continue up to 100%. I would rather have it stop automatically, or at least be loud and last for 10 seconds so I won't miss it. I wish I it would also alert me LOUDLY when charge drops to 20%, to remind me to plug in. All phones should be able to be limited to 20%- 80% for maximum battery life.
