📊 BATTERY USE
 
Accu​Battery measures the actual battery usage using information from the battery charge controller. Battery usage per app is determined by combining these measurements with information on which app is in the foreground. Android calculates battery usage using pre-baked profiles that device manufacturers provide, like how much power the CPU uses. In practice however, these numbers tend to be highly inaccurate.

I like AccuBattery a lot, particularly because it has a battery charging level alarm, unlike any other battery app that I'm aware of. You can set the alarm to alert you to when the battery has reached a certain level of charge. Thus, you can avoid overcharging your battery which helps tremendously extend the life of the battery. Of course, many users would be unwilling to only charge to 80% (AccuBatteries default charging level alarm setting). The app has all the information you could ever want

I used this app for a long time, and it's absolutely fantastic for anyone who wants to take care of their phone's battery. The most useful feature is the charge alarm, which helped me maintain the habit of charging only up to 80% to prolong battery life. It provides incredibly detailed stats on battery health, capacity, and which apps are draining the battery. It takes a few charge cycles to become accurate, but the insights it provides are invaluable. A must-have tool for every user.

Installed this to keep track of my battery health on my Pixel 8 Pro. The app refuses to detect a full charge, even when charging from under 15% until when the charge alarm goes off. No helpful information provided by the dev to remedy this issue. After the "ad-free trial period" expires, the cost to purchase Pro increases ... but the app doesn't fully work regardless, so definitely not buying that. Uninstalled!
