I really like apps like this, made by independent developers who are making the app for a real purpose rather than just as a medium for advertising and money-making. The statistics and features offered are genuinely useful, but I really dislike that there is no way to slide away the notification about how much is currently discharging. I don't want/need to know that all the time, only sometimes. The option to remove that would bring this up to 5*
I love it. But I have recently turned off background activity for the app in my Nexus 6P on Oreo. Now the app sometimes closes itself, not always though. It's not supposed to happen or it's should not be broken for turning off background activity if it's properly optimized for oreo. I'm using WhatsApp and it has it's background activity turned off. Works great, no problem regarding sending/receiving messages in background. So please see if you can fix this problem.
The tips are very useful. The main concern is on the accuracy of the capacity estimates. I have a phone that is over 2 years old, and it would shutdown when battery is low (say 20-30%) while demand is high. The estimate is about 115% of original capacity. I have a brand new phone with non-removable battery, the first two estimates are both only 83%. I don't think I should trust these numbers anymore.
Loved this app... BUT! I hate that you failed to make it possible to get rid of the persistent notification, you can only change to "low priority". We have enough notifications as it is, don't need another one that you can't disable or swipe away. It also does not even contain information that I value. 1 star and app deleted until this is fixed.
Great app. Battery draining is less with the app. At least with my 3 year old SG S6. Also like that it measures battery real capacity vs designed. Also liked the advice that charging to only 80% deducts 0.26 cycles from Li-ion batteries life cycle!
This has been the app I've been looking for, however, I don't see myself using the app in the future because of the inability to toggle the notification that is constantly displayed showing the live discharge rate. This small issue is enough from driving me away from using this app. I would consider buying the pro version if this issue gets resolved, but to me, it's unusable right now.
