About this game

Puzzlr is an app that lets you play an unlimited number of randomly generated puzzles.

Choose from word search puzzles, title picture puzzles, or jumbled quotation puzzles. On holidays it has themed word searches. All puzzles work off-line.

Word Searches:
Tapping a word in the list will show a hint by highlighting the first letter in the word grid. When a puzzle is completed a new one is generated.

Words can be selected forwards or backwards.

A word search (also called word find, word seek, word sleuth, mystery word puzzle, WordSeek, WordFind, WonderWord, or "Sopas de letras" - Spanish for "Soup of Letters") is a word game that has a grid of letters with words hidden in different directions.

Find the words listed at the top, in the letter grid below. Intersecting words are hidden forwards, backwards, up, down and diagonally. When you have found all the words you have solved the puzzle!

Hints for Word Sleuths:

Search for obvious or rarely used letters or double letters in words.

Scan each row for a letter and when it is found, then search the surrounding letters for the next letter in the word.

Title Photo Puzzles:
Title puzzles are similar to a jigsaw puzzle but with square pieces. A picture is broken into squares that are then jumbled. Select two squares to switch their positions. Continue until the puzzle is solved.

Objective: move each tile to its correct position to complete the picture

Tap a tile to select it. Tap another one to switch their positions. When a tile is correctly placed it will lock in position and can no longer be selected. Continue switching pieces until the picture is complete.

Jumbled Quotes:
For each round of the game you're presented with a series of blank lines, one blank for each letter in a quotation. At the bottom of the screen is a jumble of letters. The author's name is also given.

Drag the letters onto the blanks. They will turn white and lock into place when correct. A hint button is available to show where one of the letters needs to be placed.
