About this game

Once upon a time, a daring princess defied stereotypes and took her fate into her own hands. Roterra is a unique puzzle game about shifting perspective, set in a magical world where “up” is relative. Roterra uses a new game mechanic unlike anything you’ve played before focused on solving puzzles.

Tap, press and swipe to guide Princess Angelica to the exit of 80 hand-crafted puzzles. You may have to flip the world on its head to traverse this realm of cubes, transforming trees into pathways, flat walls into staircases and revealing a new path at every turn.

Take your time and plan your moves: in this perception-challenging world, things are rarely as they seem, and the correct path is often not the most obvious one.

Puzzles have multiple solutions, so you can play over and over. Can you find the rock spiders and other uniquely Roterran monuments?

---STORY OF ROTERRA---
Roterra is a puzzle game about looking beyond the surface and changing perception. Angelica a willowy young girl in a world of hulking knights, is no damsel in distress: she controls powerful magic that allows her to manipulate the terrain to suit her purposes.

Betrayed and abandoned in the forest, Angelica’s inner turmoil is reflected in the jumbled physical environment where paths don’t connect. As she overcomes these obstacles, she becomes empowered and learns that often the only way forward is to change your perspective.

This is probably the best mobile game I've ever played. Fantastic story, fun puzzles, no dead ends or extremely convoluted combinations where you have to reset levels and start over, slick graphics. Also, it's long enough to care about the game (while there are some paid games out there that last only 2 hours). Beautifully done!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review. If your device supports it you might want to try Roterra Extreme - Great Escape that was recently released on the Google Play store. Puzzle levels are more complicated. Have a wonderful day.

At first I wasn't enthusiastic but after the 4 free levels, I got hooked and payed the 2€ for the full game. It reminds me "Monument Valley" in terms of atmosphere (certainly not as polished, but I guess this is also a matter of budget) - definitely worth a try, to me it's a hidden gem 💎 Edit: I finished the game in about 3 hours: very enjoyable, challenging without being too hard. When I got stuck, it was cause I oversaw a switch or a "hidden way"(graphics can be tricky). Thanks for this game

I was pleasently surprised by this little game. Its calming and fun. My only criticism is the textures. On a small screen the textures make a lot of noise and as such the game is not pretty. Had you gone with the simplicity of the monument Valley aesthetics it would have been perfect. Feels like I'm helping Princess Peach through the forest :)
