Will not work with Pixel running OS 7.1.2, cuts off 90% of call button and when call is placed just loops back to dialer. Called Switchvox support absolutely NO help, was told "buy a different model Android phone, they can not be expected to test with all of the different models of Android phones on the market" Ouch!
I used to use and Iphone and had this app on that phone. Recently I switched to a Pixel and installed this app. I love it. Since I travel a great deal, I really want all of the things I have on my desk phone, like the ability to record calls, transfer calls, my voice mail, and for me having all my contacts quickly available is great.
I reported that this app did not work with the Nexus 6P way back in December, and still, there's been no update that has fixed this app. Really, how can you put an app in the store that is simply broken and leave it there for eight months? While the basic design looks great for this, it is not the slightest bit functional yet. If you want a phone system with a robust and reliable softphone app, go elsewhere. Digium needs to commit more resources to getting this fully functional.
After 10 minutes the app doesn't seem to work anymore except for by chance here and there unless you re-open the app. Then for another 10ish minutes. It worked fine on my recalled note7 but my s7 edge is not liking it as mentioned above.
Broken, crashy It seems to register okay, then becomes unregistered. It simply doesn't work. After awhile, the app stops responding.
Crashes phone then won't load Once it configured, it locked up my phone and I had to hard reset it. When I tried to open the app after reboot it wouldn't open.
This latest version of Switchvox Softphone for Android improves efficiency and reliability, and adopts the look and feel of Digium's new D80 IP Phone. The Switchvox server and the latest version of the app now use push technology to dramatically improve battery life, reduce data usage, and provide more accurate notifications of incoming calls, missed calls and unread voicemail.
