The app is a great convenience to have, but I certainly don't rely 100% on it. I just recently had a new 5906V, VSK100 and SamrtStart added to my vehicle. For the most part it works, however, since I am using an Android device, my VSK100 will not work with my phone. This was a great addition that I was looking forward to having and using, but it will not work on Android. I tested the app and hardware with my wife's iPhone and it worked fine, so I know it isn't the hardware. I would certainly up it to 5 stars if Viper/Directed actually gets their Android end of quality at the same level as the iOS team, and updates the app so all options function correctly.
Rarely works Any way to get the old app back? 9 times out of 10 this version of the app times out and will not start my car. Frustrating when I bought the viper so it worked via my phone. I'm with everyone else on here, why am I paying for something that doesn't work? Looking into anther remote start that actually has an app that works. Pull this version and give us back the one that actually worked. When it does start it ALWAYS says started at 2200. So not helpful.
new release doesn't work either locks up can't back out.................... now I have the newest version still doesn't work right. after each use have to go to settings and force a stop application to use it each time. bring back the original it worked fine had it for 2 years without any problems. It's working better now can't wait to try this new release 6-23- 2016
This is been the worst service ever I thought it was a great idea when I bought it and had it installed in my car and paid all the extra money for the app... But it only works like maybe half the time and I think maybe we should all get together and sue... three words... Class action lawsuit ....
Confused It works when it wants to work. I am really fed up. I need help now. Why can't we get it right? I have paid my hard owned money for good service. I have not been happy with this app at all. It fills like a bad relationship on again off again. Seriously people let's get this thing fixed. I am on the verge of ending this relationship!!!!!
Worst app ever! I updated to this new version and I cannot sign in, I follow the password instructions and it won't go to settings, as instructed. All I have is the stupid tutorial. I can not go any further. Sign in fails! I requested a new password. Guess what the new password won't work, requested another password, guess what the new password won't work! Times 3. It is 2:30 in the morning and this SUX! FIX THIS APP. FINALLY FOUND THE CAR IN THE PARKING LOT. THIS SUX!😠😠😠
