I would give this app a zero. It keeps saying it can't connect due to connection issues!!! I called direct tv who told me they would send it to there I.T department. That was a week ago still haven't heard anything. I HATE this app !!!!!
Bugs I keep on getting the intro tutorial everytime I launch the app. Ever since you "improved" the live viewing, locals are missing from the live tv section and there's no indicator of what's available out of home and what's in home only. I can only see 12 hours ahead when I select a channel, which makes it impossible to schedule recordings
Lag No matter how fast of a connection I'm on it still buffers videos. And half the time it can't find the receivers in my house... Would be great app if it worked better
Will not work on Android 7.0 Doesn't work with Android 7.0. It hasn't worked throughout the developer previews and doesn't work on final release. This is the reason Google allowed developers to target Nougat in their apps and then publish them for a while prior to official release. Typical AT&T - never supports the latest versions of software on their apps or even their devices.
Limited choices I previously had Time Warner Cable and with that app ALL the channels you paid for at home to watch were also available on their app. It was one tap of a button to watch a show, not 3,4,5 buttons. If you wanted to record a show that was also a tap if the button. Not like this app where you have to go through several screens just to get to the program. Not as user friendly as it could be compared to other apps. Prices are ridiculous for both providers, HULU and NETFLIX here I come.
Commercial hogs Fast forward disabled, three commercial breaks into a show I get a phone call, app ends stream. Progress not saved have to watch 25 minutes of program and the same three rounds of commercials just to resume where I originally got a phone call. One Fing star.
