OMG. Just atrocious. The worst performing streaming video app known to man. If I could give it -5 stars I would. Video is totally jerky. Audio is good, but video stutters CONSTANTLY. It is not my network or tablet because Netflix, Amazon video and ALL of my other streaming video apps work perfectly. Only this POS app stutters relentlessly. It’s absolutely unwatchable. I would be embarrassed to say that I worked for the company that put this garbage in the App Store
With this ap I am able to re-watch most of my favorite series on HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, and Encore. Sometimes the Directv ap will not have all of the episodes available. If a network is running a marathon, you are forced to watch your series on HBOGO, Showtime Anytime, etc which is inconvenient. I really like that I can watch my shows DATA FREE with AT&T.
Constantly receiving error messages along the lines of "unable to stream, receiver in use, etc." It's more annoying than useful. It does work better on a tablet than it does on a phone, but overall the app needs some work.
1. Preparing shows to download is incredibly slow. 2. App constantly shuts down on its own. 3. While flying, app will often times not work because it fails to "locate wifi signal". Even though shows are downloaded and you do not need wifi. Compared to Showtime Anytime app which can download the exact same movies and play them without shutting down, this app is HORRIBLE.
So tired of it continually crashing and saying there is a problem. Fresh install nothing should be wrong.
Longtime Direct customer. ...this app keeps dropping off. ..can't watch a single show without having to reboot it and I've lost my spot when trying to watch it live....SUCKS
