Constantly fails on DVR downloads and replays, had to reauthorize access to the DVR more than 6 times which erases any shows downloaded. Oh it has these mystery messages about DVR busy, can't connect, the latest one relative my tablet not having an Internet connection. If that's so you wouldn't be reading this message. If it worked consistently it would be great, but it don't... Obviously a beta product posing as a completed app... A lot of work needs to be done...
Well this app was ok until I upgraded it to version 4.9.410. Now on my Galaxy Tab A 10.1 it doesn't work. It tells me there is a connection problem and to check my internet connection. However I have a good strong 30mbs signal sitting 10 foot away from the router. And everything else on this tablet works as well as the DirecTV app on my phone using the same network in the exact same location. I'm paying good money for DirectTV and being able to watch it in the other areas of my house on my tablet was a big selling point. This really needs to be addressed and fixed soon.
When I'm away from home I like to watch on demand movies on my tablet. However there is no way to resume where I left off and to add to this the app crashes so I have to start the movie all over again. Allso the app crashes while watching live TV and the streaming quality is poor. I don't have this problem on any other streaming app. Hoping to see a much improved performance with the next update.
I hate this app so much there are no words to describe. It closes at random. I FINALLY get it loaded and start scrolling the guide and it shuts down. I start a program and it shuts down. I watch a program after restarting it ten times, I get to the end, and it shuts down right before the conclusion. I want to throw a brick through my tablet at this app. It is the worst. I can stream live tv from any network direct, no problem. Not my tablet. Fix this app!!!!
Why am I not able to sign back in. We always have this problem with the app. Please fix this!!!Error 201!! The app crashes while trying to watch anything. Download and trying to turn on prepare to download is ridiculous. Why are we paying for something we cannot use. There are a whole host of things wrong with this app. Please fix it!! Why are all of the bad reviews which is mostly all of them buried! And the four good ones are on the front?! Dodgy & Shifty!!!
So, I've left bad reviews in the past and wanted to update and say it still stinks. Watching on demand is an exercise in pain. I get to watch the same one of two ads at every break. The only way to find a show is search and that is slow. And sometimes search doesn't work so start at A and you will find it eventually. Sometimes it crashes mid watch and I have to search for the show all over again to get back where I was. Why is this so painful while Netflix is so smooth?
