Overall this app is good. Easy to use, quick, barely ever buffers or freezes, and I like having all the game scores right at the top of the screen for checking scores and easily switching between games. The only oddity is when casting to my TV from my phone. At start up when casting, the volume turns way up, and then at random times while casting later on, the volume will increase 10 or more clicks without any inputs by me on my phone or TV. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a nuisance, especially when not right by the TV or phone to bring the volume back down to normal human levels.
I have this issue where 5 times a game or so, I have to disconnect the Chromecast stream and then reconnect. Why? Because the sound and picture are off. Now I could handle if the sound was behind, but the sound is always ahead, so you hear the announcers and crowd before you get to see what happened. Crazy frustrating
Works at a cost... Buffers faster than the PlayStation app but when you stream on Chromecast it will constantly mute volume on it's own. Very annoying to have to keep turning the volume on while watching a game
Its a great app. I've used it to what games while running errands. The exception is that a game will get blacked out when being broadcast locally. The way around that is to watch the redzone which is great in itself.
Thanks for deleting my earlier review? I consistently can't watch games that are OUT OF MARKET? REALLY? It's not the 70s anymore. Clowns.
Just glitchy at times. For those confused, Thursday, Sunday night and Monday night aren't a part of this package. 1) If a Fox/CBS game is on your television through cable or air they will be blacked out on this app. Yes this applies to people that travel too. 2) You can't use this at stadiums.
