You have to use your cable service's username and password to watch "live tv"?? Hey ABC, do I have to use my cable username to watch live tv broadcasts over the air? No, of course not. So why the heck would you make app users do that? Don't tie yourselves so closely to the cable companies. By trying to force people to subscribe to cable tv just to use an app to access shows that they already have access to, you have completely, 100% ensured that millions of people just like me will never use your app.
They take forever to have new episodes available to watch.. thought abc was a big network but it takes them longer than any other network to have new episodes available to watch. ..hey want a hint if you want people to like your shows they have to be able to watch them? Why take so dam long to put new episodes up anywhere not smart at all?
The quality of this app should be much better considering it comes from a major network. When trying to skip ahead in a show to pick up where you left off it does one of two things: 1. Repeatedly plays the same 6 ads and then starts from the beginning anyway, rather than where you dropped the pin. Or 2. Plays the same 6ads and plays where you dropped the pin but it's just a black screen and all you get is the sound. It's infuriating.
OK to watch full episodes but it often messes up and makes you watch 3 rounds of 5-6 commercials. You also can't even so much as check a text without the show stopping. I use the CW app too with much less advertising and I can at least respond to a message without the show pausing
Won't let me login with my provider Time Warner / Spectrum! App is worth less on the road and unable to use guess because I am not in my state? CBS fox and all other apse work just fine all except ABC SMH
This was horrible. I have never seen so many ads in my life. I get one or two but SIX every fifteen minutes of a 45 min long show? I don't think so. And then heaven forbid it freezes and you lose your place, and you literally have to watch every ad all over again if you try to fast forward to where you left off. I'll just wait to use my dvr at home
