The app keeps crashing in the background even though I haven't opened it. I keep getting the pop-up that it's crashed. I have reported it several times. It seems to happen when I disconnect my Bluetooth headphones or car stereo. Somebody will likely reply to this with a phone number to call, but surely they have enough data by now to fix it. Many people have reported the bug. - Running a fully updated Google Pixel.
I have the 2016 Vizio P-series display. I use to live the Disney Anywhere App. I could watch all the Star Wars and Marvel movies I already own. After purchasing Dr. Strange and watching halfway through the movie now I can no longer Cast the movie to my Vizio P-series display. It used to work but not anymore. It's really disappointing when you know it should work but it doesn't.
BluRay disc I bought said, "three easy step" for watching my digital copy. After multiple redundant questions and an app download and having to create an account ( several more than 3 steps) Am I finally ready to watch my movie???? Not a chance, now there is an error with playback the again. Total bullshit!!!!!!!!!! Waste of time.
I absolutely love being able to take my collection of assorted Disney movies from different platforms and being able to watch them all on my phone. My only real complaint is that I can't redeem my reward points on the app, and that's hardly a complaint- more a mild inconvenience than anything. That, and it buffers frequently. It disrupts the flow when I'm belting along to my favorite songs in the movies. Also, all the people complaining about having to pay to watch the movies on a free app obviously don't get the point of the app. It's meant to be a database for the films you ALREADY OWN. That's why it's free. So ignore the reviews complaining about that.
"Unable to open in Kids Mode" when trying to download movies. Other apps do not have this issue. Feedback to Disney yielded no results to fix the app. Do not waste money on Disney Movies if you want to download and use on a mobile device with Kids Mode. You have to decide if you will allow unrestricted access for your kids to watch them, outside of the sandbox or not letting them watch the movies.
One large complaint I have is not being able to watch the bonus features when I stream on my Roku smart tv. I want to access these bonus features on all my devices just as easily as I can access the movie. I do love this app, and it's frequently used. Even when I traveled to Europe I was able to watch movies while on a boat and train. I got wreck it Ralph when I first signed up and I have realized how underrated that movie is. It's definitely a top for me now.
