Mostly helpful While I am still in the planning stages of our trip, I have concerns about using this app for anything other than checking wait times and maps. After 2 weeks of signing out and back in, uninstalling and re-installing, and an app update, it is still only showing that there is only 1 magic band active for our account (as opposed to the 4 we have that are active and correct on thw websitw). No one I have spoken to on the phone has been able fix it so I will not use it for any ADR or fastpasses. Please fix!
We have been using this app through Disney for many years. We've never had any issues. The people help you if you don't understand how to use the app. Anyone on their way to Disney World would be crazy LOL not to use this app. It's like having your own personal guide and travel assistant with you. I have called twice and sent 2 emails and still no one seems to care. I am unable to book and dining reservations or even modify because it keeps searching a day behind. For example if I am trying to book dinner for the 27th it tells me I have to cancel the 26th!! When I search for the 25th it tells me searching for the 24th! They recommended using the website so then why bother with the App!!
Massive battery drain: runs in the background on startup and polls location every few seconds. It's got a lot of great features for when you're in the parks, but the massive battery drain is not worth it, in my opinion. At best, I'd recommend installing the app on the day(s) you're visiting one of the parks, but uninstalling immediately afterward.
It worked great while I was at Disney World. However as soon as I got home and activated my photos and videos, so I could start downloading them. The app started kicking me out. I called Disney they said it's a memory issue..try other devices. However having similar struggle with laptop and computer. I even updated app & still having problems. People pay alot of money for these memory makers and you struggle to download pictures and videos. And you have a time limit to get it done, 45 days from your check in date @ resort. My time is running out and still trying to get them.
This app worked perfectly fine until the latest update. After I updated my Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween tickets disappeared from the app. When I tried to put the confirmation code in, it said the tickets were already linked to my account. I can't find them anywhere on the app. We called to ask them how to fix it and the person told us to uninstall and reinstall which I've done 3 times already and it still won't show up.
