Tried to purchase the photos from our trip but the app does not let you select the day you'd like to purchase. Once you make a purchase your only allowed to download pictures for that day. I clicked on the picture of the day that I wanted. Then I paid the full price of the all day photo pass. By default the purchase only allowed me to download pictures from a day I didn't select. I started downloading the picture before I realized it was not the day I had selected. I called dither number in the app to see if it could be reversed or changed. The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful but was told by her superiors that the purchase is not refundable and I would need to make pay full price again for the day I wanted.
App is clunky. Need a place to eat? Just use Yelp. Google Maps is better for finding your way around. Disney could transform the experience of the entire park with a much better app. (Of course they'd need to pay me for the insight, so there.) Honestly, Disneyland has been on autopilot for many years, and feels like it. Disneyland needs a major infusion of fresh envisioning of the kind that birthed the park IN 1959. So there.
I used to LOVE this app but since I've updated, my photos are no longer on the main screen. I have to act like I'm searching for a photo pass location, select the location then click on view photos. What happened? Overall it's a great app though. The wait times aren't always accurate but they're close enough to get an idea before taking across the park. I wish they'd add overall capacity too.
The only thing that would make this better is if I could use it offline. When I'm at the park I put my phone in Airplane mode to save battery life. So, it would be nice if I didn't have to take my phone off that mode and still be able to use the app. Other than that it's everything I've ever wanted for a Disneyland app
Pro: it's a good app for getting park hours, what's up and running or what is under repair and the map can't be beat. Cons: a bookmarking tool with alerts would be outstanding. Something that would remind me I'm standing real close to something I want me toddler to ride or see. Also height requirements would be great, not just suggested age range, nothing is more disappointing than going to get my daughter on a ride but finding out at the last moment she isn't tall enough
The Disney parks apps are getting better and becoming more unified. Lots of great information can be found. Wait times, menus, etc. We'll see how maxpass works soon. Doesn't sound as accessible as fastpass+. For the must part, app is the best for Disneyland information.
With this release, we fixed bugs and improved overall app performance.
