Can't sign in to the app with Twitter I signed up for the app with Twitter's authentication, but when the sign up was complete, it opened up the Distiller site and not the app. I have tried several times to login to the app with no luck. I also can't make a new password because I don't know what the current is because I authorized over Twitter. I would love to use the app but I can't seem to get it to work
Great content but app needs work The overall features and selection are great, however the app is slow to respond and buggy. Every new page takes a solid 2 seconds. During searches I have to type every letter slowly or else it misses some. There are only 2 features that would complete the app. The first is to change the rating feature to 1/4 stars, full stars are simply to broad. Second isthe ability to add your own whisky that is missing. There are so many new ones coming out all the time and understandably they cannot keep up.
Search function not working Search function has suddenly ceased to work. Have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Wondering if this is intentional as the web site is doing the same thing when using my PC.
It is a well polished app. Easy to navigate most of the time. The menu needs a revamp. It is like it is not made for mobile, more a webapp menu type transformed into a mobile size. The website on the other hand website is great. It is a nice website, more polished than the app. Wonder which one came first, the app or the site. It has no label scanning which is a negative for me. Database is OK. It misses a lot of independent bottling companies such as That Boutique-y, The Ultimate. I could find some other more known companies such as Pure Malt and Signatory but not as near the amount of distilleries they possess. I suppose this is due to their "Professional" review strategy. I would consider open public reviews to fix this. There could be a section for professional review a a social tab for followers and people you follow. Adding a label scanner would definitely help increase their DB. The process of requesting a missing entry or a review is very manual and since this is mostly done on a phone it make the process more of a struggle than of a smooth experience. I have not checked the DB for other malts mainly the whiskey section therefore so I cannot judge there.
Update has screwed it up! Used to be great but some update has disabled the search feature from operating correctly. I can utilize it if I can't find what I'm drinking, super disappointed.
