Great product, could be more user friendly We have two of these, one in each of our daughters bedrooms. I've watched with interest as the user interface has been refreshed and updated over the last two years, but each upgrade seems to remove another bit of functionality. For some reason both cameras have dropped of the mydlink account, figured it should be easy to add them back but it is anything but. The option to 'join mydlink' has vanished. In summary, a great product, we use ours every day and once it's up and running it's pretty reliable.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ...and if you have, take the hardware back for a refund before you waste hundreds of dollars. seriously, this product has failed to function 2 to 3 days a week for the last 22 months. in the last two or three weeks it's only *worked* 2 to 3 days a week. THIS company has your money. they don't care. look at the reviews... obviously they're covering their ears and repeating "I can't hear you, I can't hear you" and continue to NOT fix their app. this is a garbage company in my (and many others') opinion.
What was actually updated? I haven't been able to get into the app for the last 2 days on my S7 edge. I updated it today and guess what? I still can't get in! Do not buy this piece of crap, the camera works but the app doesn't so defeats the purpose. You people are crooks still having this product on the market!
It consumes so much battery i cant use phone anymore. It hangs cam, crashes it self, doesnt stop even after logout. Uninstalling it is the only way. It dramaticaly lacks of most basing features. And this is the only way to use this camera? Im going to refund and never touch anything from Dlink again expecting the worst. Does it worth it Dlink? Releasing such useless products.
Disappointed The camera is nice, but the App is making troubles when the device is connected to home network. If my phone is connected directly, it's working perfect. This means I must have separate device to be connected to the camera all the time. But this is not the way that it's supposed to be. I bought the camera right because I would be able to check my baby remotely anywhere around the world, but in fact it's almost impossible because of the freezing screen or lack of connection. Please fix this problems!
Very Frustrating Rarely works right twice in a row. Freezes often, when the app does connect to camera. Camera is quite good however the app is the crucial link to it and you would think with so many poor reviews dlink would make an effort to correct the apps performance. Tired of trying to open app and it just won't for no apparent reason.
