F109DAB+CD+NETWORK & SAMSUNG S3 LTE 4.4.4 1star: support don't reply. set sound system up, connected to wifi, went ahead with the offered firmware for the networky box. powered down. powered up. app discovered the whole system so i can flip to phono woooo. dlna works perfect pulling song info to the stereo and album art to my phone. no issues whatsoever... i just wish i could have more than 8 'shortcuts' in the app main screen but hey, not complaining (stereo bits and phone as review title. router is dlink-dir615d2 running ddwrt firmware)
An absolute mess How hard can it be for a company that produces Denon & Marantz to pay some decent devs to actually fix this bloody app? Surely can't be that hard to get the app to not loose connection every 10 seconds, refusing to find the receiver afterwards? An absolute mess to configure, works like an absolute pig when navigating through menus. Unbelievably messy work from a company that should know better. Using it for a Marantz 1506.
This app is absolute trash. It's an embarrassment to Denon, a quality receiver brand. Surely they can invest a few thousand dollars to pay someone with some app design skills to do a better job than this app. The screens are un-intuitive, navigation is inconsistent. Could use a full overhaul. Really detest that this is the only option available.
Always a new problem Seems like this app has a new problem every week. Now it won't let me connect to my Pandora. Every time they do an update, something else doesn't work. I paid a lot of money for this receiver to have the luxury of the app, and it never works properly. Very disappointed.
Piece of crap Connection fails every couple of days and I have to reboot the receiver. Cant tell which end the problem is on but chiise another brand.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and sometimes it crashes (AVR-X1100). What a wonderful job, Denon! Improve it, please! It wasn't good already and it simply doesn't work with my receiver after this last update. Besides the terrible receiver, the worst app. Denon NEVER again.
*If the App doesn't work properly, please try to reboot your mobile device, unplug the power cord of the main unit and reinsert into the power outlet or check your home network.
*Please use a latest firmware in your Denon models by checking it via the system setup menu.(General > Firmware)
*Please set "Network Standby / IP Control / Network / Network Control" to "ON / Always ON" in your Denon product via the system setup menu to use this app.
