About this app

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide spans of time, then read the answer in any of 26 formats. Time Calculator by Cardamon is a free time duration calculator for hours, minutes, seconds, and more, with no ads.

Working out a shift minus lunch? Type 8 hours 45 minutes, subtract 1 hour 15 minutes, and get 7 hours 30 minutes. Need to know how long three 50-minute sessions run? Multiply 50 minutes by 3 to get 2 hours 30 minutes. Splitting a 6-hour job across 4 people? Divide 6 hours by 4 to get 1 hour 30 minutes each. This is the hours and minutes calculator for anyone who is tired of doing time math in their head.

Time Calculator works with durations, not clock times. It does not tell you what time it will be or work with calendar dates. It figures out how long, then converts that time span into whatever units you need. Think of it as a time span calculator and a duration calculator rolled into one clean keypad.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Add and subtract time: 2 hours 30 minutes + 45 minutes, or 5 days minus 18 hours. The add and subtract time calculator handles mixed units in a single line.
- Multiply and divide a duration by a number: 25 minutes times 12, or a week divided by 5. Scale any time span up or down in one tap.
- Continue from your last answer: press = and keep typing to build the next calculation on the previous result.
- Read the result in 26 formats: from a single unit like Hours or Minutes, to combined views like Day Hour Minute, up to All Units, from years down to milliseconds.

CALCULATE HOURS THE EASY WAY

Stop converting minutes to decimal hours by hand. Enter your hours and minutes, and the hours minutes calculator does the rest. Total a timesheet, work out hours worked across a week, or check how many hours a project really took. Add overtime, subtract breaks, and read the clean total in the format you prefer. When you need to calculate hours worked fast, the math stays in the app instead of on a scrap of paper.

8 TIME UNITS

Milliseconds, seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. The millisecond is the smallest unit. Switch the keypad to show either a Milliseconds or a Years key depending on what you work with most, so the units you use live one tap away. Mix any units in one expression and let the duration calculator sort out the totals.

RATE CALCULATOR

Enter an amount and a label, such as 25 and USD, and see the total per hour, per day, per week, and per each of the 8 time units for your current duration. The label is free text, so use it for pay, output, distance, or anything measured over time. Note: this multiplies your amount by the interval. It does not convert currency or fetch exchange rates.

THREE THEMES

Choose System, Light, or Dark. Dark mode is built in and applies instantly, no restart needed. The whole app follows your phone or your preference.

WHO USES IT

- Shift workers and timesheets: total your hours worked minus breaks, then read the result in decimal hours or hours and minutes.
- Freelancers and contractors: add up billable time across tasks and calculate hours for an invoice.
- Payroll and admin: tally shift hours and overtime, then check the weekly total in seconds.
- Cooking and brewing: stack and split timing across steps without losing track.
- Sport and training: add up intervals and rest, then divide a session into even blocks.
- Music and video: add clip and track lengths to find a total runtime.
- Students and teachers: add study sessions or split a deadline into work blocks.
- Anyone who needs clean time math, a quick time span calculator, or a duration calculator without a clock or calendar.

Ratings and reviews

Time Calculator is a really useful app when you need to calculate time quickly. I use it for work hours and it saves me from doing math by hand. The interface is clean and easy to understand. I like that it can add subtract multiply and divide time without any confusion. Overall it works great and makes time calculations much more easier.

I should've given this a 5 but the only thing lacking is that, there's no way to view your previous conversion. And in case you will use it again, you have no choice but to retype it from scratch. Hope they add feature like that. Overall, I'm satisfied of how simple it is. Easy and very functional to use.

Very simple and straightforward layout. So far it's worked flawlessly for me. Its able to do any type of time calculation that I would ever need with ease. No ads either! What else could you ask for. Love it!
