Ratings and reviews

This app is really problematic. We have to reset the system to get it to work and then after an hour or so the groups stop working. We have 3 areas setup, Pool, Outdoor Kitchen and Patio. I can never get all 3 connected and it's a guarantee that one of the areas doesn't work. And there is no consistency with which room will work or won't work. I'm really disappointed and will be replacing the system.

This is so buggy it's basically unusable. I didn't care about HEOS when I bought the receiver, but I was interested when I read that it might be capable of gapless playback, so I set it up. I haven't been able to try gapless playback because it constantly freezes and fails to properly list any songs. I'm happy with the receiver and don't need this. If you're buying some wireless thing that needs HEOS, or you think it might be a nice feature on a receiver, pass on this.

Lose connection to speakers too many times to rate this any higher. I've tested my network and it's fine. When it works, it's fantastic. I bought in to Heos for the connection options, sound quality, and expandability. the app just doesn't work well. I never knows all my speakers will show up every time I open the app. This is the only app I have to force stop weekly to try get reconnected.
