Wow! I have had the Wifif Issues on my LG G3 ever since I updated to Lollipop like most people. Instagram and FB were very slow, Ebay, Amazon and Hangout Notifications were not existent through Wifi. Installed this app and boom blazing fast and all notifications are now appearing on wifi. I just hope its safe to use and I'm not vulnerable now. but wow super impressed.
Fixed Note 5 and S6 wifi issue!!! My note 5 and S6 are only a week old and we were getting ready to sell the phones because nothing (websites, facebook, youtube, etc) would load while on wifi. If it was regular data, it would be fine. Anyway, after trying everything (clearing cache, resetting modem /router, searching several Samsung forums, etc) I found mention of this app and I can't believe the speed after installing! Seriously. I don't know anything about phones and connectivity or how this app works, but it works, and I'm happy!!
Galaxy s7 wifi issues fixed If your new galaxy is crawling on wifi even though speed tests are fine, download this app. You also may want to turn on developer options and use legacy DHCP. For some reason android is having ipv6 issues, so it fails back to ipv4. That's why your wifi works and your bandwidth is fine but your phone is slow. Thanks dnset!
Thank you! Since my LG G2 updated to Android 5.02 wifi at home on comcast xfinity has been crippling. This solved the near minute delay for any data activity within seconds. Wish I found this a week ago instead of spending countless hours doing research and tweaks to no avail.
Fixes my WiFi issue For whatever reason, WiFi speeds on my gs6 were abysmal while my lte/4g was working fine. Used this app to change to Google dns, now my WiFi is back up to speed on my gs6. Only issues I have is that it seems to time out after a few minutes. Closing it seems to not work, even when going through running apps. It would be nice if the key icon was invisible while this thing is running. Other than that, I have full wifi speed on my gs6.
Gets the job done It definitely gets my connection working smoothly. My only complaint is that it randomly turns itself off all the time, even though I have it set to auto start. So, when I see I'm getting nowhere on my browser, I know I have to go to the app and start it again.
* GUI: new 'auto start' checkbox: now DNSet is able to start automatically at boot time.
* New permission required for the 'auto start' feature: RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED.
