the newest update to the app is filled with ads, ai nonsense, and very hard to read articles. it's a mess trying to sort through articles now. when reading an article the entire thing is filled with ads and random fillers that keep separating the article into chunks. been a loyal khou person for years, but this is actually making me delete the app.

I love almost everything about the app, but there is 1 thing that just makes me nuts when I'm trying to navigate and see the more detailed items. ADs. Now I get you need to generate some income to cover the costs of the app, but to be forced to watch the same 20 - 30 second ad every time I want to watch a clip seem a bit much. Can you find a way to let someone be tortured by 1 ad and then see 3 clips before torturing is again? What about a version where we can pay a fee for ad free?

I have used the KHOU app for years. Sadly, when they did the upgrade they apparently decided that visually impaired people didn't need to read the news. Yes they do have it so you can adjust the font in a story by one level. For someone like myself and that is only after getting to the story. The homepage and menus can't be enlarged. I did write to KHOU the app when it first came out and told them of the problem. With no reply.. I wish I could get them to help me or else I will have to uninstall
