Save A Child's Life
Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death among children. For minority children and those under age four, it is the number one cause.
The 24-hour Swim Relay Experience on August 27-28, 2016, will bring together over 250 swimmers, each raising $100 to teach a child to swim who otherwise couldn't afford lessons.
Swim 24Challenge benefits the San Diego Junior Lifeguard Foundation water safety and drowning prevention initiatives in San Diego.
Teams of up to 12 people compete for total distance swam and money raised. Each team will raise $1,200. Some teams will raise a lot more!
