We are Alexa and Laura, two FODMAP specialist dieticians living and working in London.
Having helped lots of people to follow a low FODMAP diet over the last two years, we came to realise that one of the big problems was that although our patients understood the diet, but struggled with knowing what to cook and eat on an everyday basis. This meant they sometimes ended up relying on convenience or packaged food just because they knew it was gluten free or low in FODMAPs, which meant their diets ended up being less healthy. We believe this shouldn't be the case - following a low FODMAP diet can be healthy - and delicious!
Our aim was to develop an app to help people following the low FODMAP diet to learn how to make delicious healthy recipes that can be eaten everyday without feeling a sense of missing out during the elimination phase of the diet.
