I like what this does, and how it does it, but I started it up in one room (where it was on a charger), then transferred some files on my computer in another room. Good thing I went back when I did because my HTC One M7 was about ready to melt. Red light flashing to indicate thermal overload and the whole nine-yards. I think some work needs to be done on resource utilization. Otherwise, like I say, I like the concept.
As everyone has already mentioned. You cannot upload a single file to your SD card using the free version of the app. The description is misleading since it says "Upgrade to the PRO version to perform multiple file uploads..." which would mean single file uploads are possible... This is not the case.
Excellent Works well simple to use, only retards don't know how to use it lol
Download trap You can get to url service thinking it is really free until you click the upload button then they tell you you have to pay.
DO NOT INSTALL - No Password by default, unencrypted, no Web DAV Allows anyone on the WLAN to read/download your files (on the paid version probably also to modify/delete/upload). Password protection is possible, but you have to explore the settings - not end-user friendly. Unencrypted data transfer, incl. Password (plain HTTP). Free version does not offer upload, only download. Missing Web DAV, which would allow to connect device to the PC as a network drive.
- Now with SD card write access on Android 5.0 and above! So you can once again upload, delete, rename and move files on your SD card
- Fix SD card write access issues that were affecting some devices, such as the LG G3
- Please see the dooblou blog for more info on how to enable SD card write access permission
