Still relevant after all these years. I transfer files at least once a day to my phone. And plugging the USB cable just contributes to the wear and tear of the phone micro-usb port. This is the most feature packed browser transfer app that I saw, and it costs less than a dollar. Totally worth it!
I wouldn't recommend this app for anything beyond the most simple copying-processes. The app offers very limited possibilities to influence the way files are copied. The only option seems to be to not overwrite files. But instead of just ignoring already existing files, they are copied to the phone again with a counter added to the filename, which is about the worst option possible. But even worse is that it doesn't seem to keep folder-structures. I tried to copy music to the phone, and instead of copying the album-folders containing the music-files, all files were copied into the destination folder directly. That's one of the most stupid things I've seen an app doing for a very long time.
I like this app. Have the pro version and it's well worth the small price tag. Performance is snappy and I like the bulk upload/download function. One thing I would like to see is selective or searchable download. ie search all files with a name or all pictures from a certain date etc.
Very useful Works a treat with internal storage and SD card.. I recently ran out of time to print some files for a meeting, so I just put them on my sd card very quickly. Great too for backing up my notes and photos. Fast and easy.
Works fantastically ... just don't refresh the page during uploads and download. Other than that: fast, easy, effective. Thanks, Dooblou. This app is just what I needed as an agnostic tool to move things around on my local network.
Just buy it I never ever rate apps, but this is truly the best working app I've ever encountered to access your phone through wifi on your pc. The usability is really really good, easy and fast. The design could be improved though
