Hello, it’s us. No, not another Adele joke. The new Doodle app.

It’s been what feels like 84 years. And while some of us may still be in lockdown, we’re opening up and launching a whole new experience with this app.

It’s sleeker, it’s easier to use. And chiefly, it works with our new product which lets you schedule anything. And save time doing it. So while we have to excuse ourselves for the long time between updates, we hope you take the time to get the new app. See you in the app.

HOW TO GET STARTED

- Download the app and create an account. We’ll take you to our website to do this. You can also start a trial.

- Take Doodle for a spin: Hit the create button (the + button) in the top right to create your first invite or booking page.

- Add the times or availability and details. Create then send the link to your participants.

- Is it a group poll? Make sure to close the poll after everyone has responded and we’ll email them all the details.

I used this for years and it was amazing you could copy times for multiple days and had a lot of options. The curent app is so clunky it doesn't even feel like the same one. Also you used to reply with a red x on day you could not do. the idea to just leave blank is OK but needs to be noted some place that it means no. Only thing I still like is it is somewhat easy for the people you send it to when replying. But I'm very seriously looking at other options. I'm not alone go back!!!

When I first downloaded the app, everything went well. It was easy for people to respond, and our scheduling improved a lot. Despite the little formatting issues, easily a 4 out of 5. But after the most recent update, I can't access any of the polls I've created in the last 4 months, notably the ongoing poll of an event in April. Whatever that update did changed the entire format and it might be an improvement (definitely looks more official), but the loss of my current work is annoying.

Sorry, no stars! The app which has been useful for many users, free as well as paid for, has gone backwards. And without warning! Sure, once one figures it out, you can vote or change your vote, but...you can no longer change or correct your name. The user interface is more confusing. There are too many differences between the app version and the website. Please, developer...offer an explanation as to why these changes were made. What are the actual improvements, other than making the app more confusing to use and less useful?
