1st delivery was a nightmare. Waited 80 mins for food, called customer service and was informed they were busy and had not even picked up my food yet. 2 hours after order my food showed up and it was bone cold. Called customer service and was told I was receive a full refund. Check bank next day and they had only partially refunded. Called customer service again and the line got "disconnected". I will never be using this service again and don't recommend anyone else use it.
The app will not let me get past the adding the app update to the cart to actually view the restaurants... I have already updated the app. Ridiculous.
Once in a blue moon If it would work more than once in a blue moon then it would be great but most of the time it tells me my zip code is invalid or that it's a bad request
I've been using this app for a while. Sometimes the closing times are inconsistent, but that's my only real gripe. The rating would be higher if more restaurants were available in Indianapolis. I live in a city with lots of options and most other delivery services put the selection on this app to shame; however, Doorstep is the only one who allows cash transactions and that is why I continue to remain loyal. One other small anoyance worth noting is the unusual way that tax is calculated. Instead of paying the proper total (tax included) on the food, tax is taken after the delivery and other fees are tacked on. I'm unaware if that is what's necessary in legal fine print, but it seems that 9.5% tax on my food order is outrageously high?
This app only shows 1 restaurant that is over 40 minutes away. Guess if you like that restaurant then it's a great app.
My gripe is that when they're way over estimated delivery time there is no call from the delivery driver. I'm just sitting here waiting not sure if it's going to be another quarter, half, or full hour until delivery
